Bellrock Consulting has risen 2 places to 27th in Building magazine’s Top 150Consultants 2026, the UK’s benchmark league table for construction and property consultancies, ranked by fee income.

The table measures scale. What it doesn’t show is the shape of the business that produced it and for anyone weighing up a consultancy partner, the shape matters more than the position.

A year of growth behind the ranking

Over the past year Bellrock Consulting has grown to more than 400 people across three UK regions, London and the South East, Central and Scotland, delivering 15 service lines across four practices: Building Advisory, Building Assets, Building Compliance and Portfolio Services.

That growth came from two directions. Acquisition brought in Summers-Inman in July 2025, 130 construction and property professionals across eight regional offices, with more than a century of cost management, quantity surveying, project management and building surveying heritage, followed by Axiom in December 2025, extending the practice into Edinburgh and Glasgow. Unification came in February 2026, when JRP, Oakleaf & Nifes, C&P, Summers-Inman and Axiom were brought together under the single Bellrock Consulting name.

Why clients feel the difference

Complex, compliance-driven estates rarely present a single problem. A façade issue becomes a structural survey, then a compliance question, then a capital planning decision, then a case to a board. Handled by separate firms, each handover loses context and costs time.

Bellrock Consulting is built to hold the whole sequence, cross-disciplinary consultants working from the same data, under pinned by Bellrock’s proprietary technology. It remains the only consultancy in the top 30 to combine cross-disciplinary experts and proprietary technology under one roof.

Investment in how the work gets done

Growth has been matched by investment in delivery. Bellrock has established a dedicated AI function with a governance framework and a company-wide enablement programme. AI assistants now halve drafting time on fee proposals, CVs and quantity surveying take-offs, and one operational automation has reduced a task that took up to 40 hours a week to around two.

That work was recognised this month when Bellrock and Head of AI Richard Merrett received the inaugural Humanity in AI Award for AI Literacy and Enablement.
