Our project management process
We have the expertise to efficiently manage all the aspects of a project, from design and construction management to specification and supplier selection. Our ability to adapt to your different internal procedures and to form close links with the nominated representatives is essential in ensuring that the objectives set for cost, timescale, quality and above all, client satisfaction, are achieved.
The new building safety act requires extensive planning at design stage. Each building is assessed with client engagement. Not all high-risk buildings need to adopt the new process fully, as they can fall within the Independent Section criteria. In simple terms, if residential areas can be accessed independently of the corporate floors within the building.
At design stage, an assessment of the room usage is made, area of the space and a derogation schedule is compiled, listing any risks.
A site condition survey is carried out, prioritising works under immediate / mid-term and long-term timescales. The immediate are then reassessed with the client, setting budgets for consideration before funding is applied for.
