About NHS Tayside– Carseview Centre

Carseview Centre Dundee provides general adult psychiatry (GAP) acute admissions. The 27,000m2 site is a key part of a large estate owned by NHS Tayside and was built in 2001.

Carseview Centre assesses and admits patients in a secure environment for intensive psychiatry, therapies and interventions.

About Bellrock Services

Bellrock has been the facilities management provider since 2013 following the acquisition of the PFI contract. The total FM service ranges from self- delivery of cleaning and security to mechanical and electrical and grounds maintenance. The NHS Trust and Bellrock work together to provide an environment that aids patient’s recovery. The dedicated on-site FM team is at the heart of the service in this challenging environment.

Outcomes

  • Since 2014, evidence of added value of over £150k delivered to the trust free of charge.
  • Compliance with SHTM requirements and contractual KPI’s using Concerto to record workflows and costs.
  • Fully compliant for all health and safety requirements with the Concerto software providing a database for statutory maintenance and compliance documentation.
  • The upgrade of the patients’ garden at no extra cost to the NHS Trust.
